perceptions

why i love the rain

i love the rain because the rain helps things to grow
things like trees
trees create oxygen in which i breathe
breath gives me the ability to live my life
a life that i love
and that is why i love the rain

inside a bubble;
outside a bubble;
a bubble inside a bubble;
two bubbles merge into one

    the way an ant would see my hallway

 through the eyes of a child

self perception

perceptions of beauty and perfection

  my nana smiling as she shares her outlook on life

bubbles and cigarettes make a beautiful combination
especially when the bubbles burst to form a momentary puff of smoke

children see the world with inquisitive eyes.
a cardboard box becomes an endless afternoon of fun
a house; a new skirt, a vessel to slide down that hill

as we get older alot of us lose this inquisition
we see a cardboard box as what we are told it is
a simple cardboard box no more no less
yet the man who developed the cardboard box
first saw the cardboard and then envisioned a box
made of cardboard

if you dont like something; change your perception-
your point of view:
 how would the world look if you were an ant?
and then again when you were a giraffe?
